Trendology: Melin Headwear Season 2 - The Connect, The Bar & The Sequel

I can rarely find the right hat for myself because of the following reasons: 1. the hat is too big for me, 2. it is not luxe enough for my taste. However, I might consider to play the hat game this coming season because of Melin.

There are a few things I like about this brand. First of all, they have different fits to suit different people, which is brilliant. Then, every hat is made of high quality materials such as leather and suede (it also has moisture wicking inside lining to minimize sweat stains). Lastly, and this is the thing that attracts me the most, every hat comes in a leather box, with a certificate of authenticity. Talk about exclusivity.

Melin is about to release some new hats for this season (some of them are already up on the online store), and below are my 3 favorites. Make sure you keep an eye on that site to discover more designs! Some of them are pure magic!

The Bar (Horizon Fit)
Fit: The Horizontal front seam has been created to allow both larger and smaller shaped heads to fit nicely into this silhouette while maintaining a more polished, fashion forward look.
Style: The front panel is made of black full grain lamb nappa leather with a custom gold finished metal bar, and the side and back crown panels are made of tuxedo wool. It is lined with proprietary moisture wicking performance fabric and quilted sweatband for comfort and breathability.

The Connect (Classic Fit) Fit: This fit is the brand's version of traditional ball cap. It is a more comfortable fit (shallow/ medium crown depth, with shorter rounded square visor shape) for people with smaller sized head
Style: The front panel is comprised of polka-dot printed brushed suede with an antique silver metal trim, and the brim and side panels are made of navy drum dyed lamb nappa leather. the under visor is red silky suede with Melin's signature enamel seal.

The Sequel (Horizon Fit)
Style: The front panel is made of cashmere wool, with black perforated drum dyed lamb nappa leather visor. The strap back is made of leather.
