{MET GALA 2014} OH YOU FANCY, HUH?

{ Who else did you expect? }
This year's Met Gala was about as formal as they come, which didn't stop celebrities a-plenty from interpreting the theme (Charles James: Beyond Fashion) in a myriad of ways. There were crop tops, strange hats, and some very confusing outfits. However, there was also a lot (a lot!) of gorgeous to behold. Starting with the above, for example. I'm never not loving Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, the world's most adorable and stylish couple—who wore Hugo Boss to this year's fete. They are a vision, aren't they?

Ready for more? You have to see what Karolina Kurkova wore, not to mention the Olsen twins and even Blake Lively. Or, more accurately, Blake Lively's arm candy.

I just look at this gown and I think, "Behold! I am flawless, statuesque and the rest of you are not even remotely this elegant!" I mean come on! The simple hair, low key makeup and singular necklace allow the dress (if you could even call it that) to speak for itself. Karolina takes the cake for me as best-dressed of the night. It's on-theme, it's interesting and she looks flat-out stunning.

They look like amazingly chic haute couture little witches / Glenn Close. I am so into it.

{ Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds both in Gucci }

Right. So, what do you want me to say about this? That it's genetically insane? That I'd murder for that hair? Fine. It's insane and I really would kill for that hair. Oh, and his hair is also really, really good. I'm just so happy for them.
