MID-WEEK MUSIC MOMENT: BO SARIS

Listen, I hear that people are rallying around all this Iggy Azalea and Ariana Grande nonsense as the "songs of summer." Let's just be real about something: those ladies are kind of annoying, and so is their music. As an alternative, I'd like to offer up a song that came out in November. I just discovered it last week, so that's good enough for me.
Bo Saris' "Little Bit More" is just a straight up jam. The lyrics have that pleading romantic element that make you think of all the potential of the season, and the beat mixed with synths and piano elements make for a modern soul vibe—not to mention Bo Saris' voice. He's not unlike Mayer Hawthorne, and while I love "The Walk," this song's almost urgently upbeat vibe just makes you want to dance and ride bikes on the beach and have a party and find your summer fling ASAP.

What do you guys think? Any other suggestions for that requisite song of summer?
