2014, week 15.

Oh. my. gosh. I am finally… almost…. caught up with my pictures. Slow and steady. Slow and steady.

Day 97. Pretty Little Liars
Okay so last month I confessed to being really behind on blogging because of Netflix and Gossip Girl. A few weeks ago I was told that I HAD to watch Pretty Little Liars. The show sounded so ridiculous that I couldn’t disagree, so I started watching it. Can I just say that while I loved watching Blair Waldorf’s wardrobe in GG, PLL for me is all about IAN HARDING. OH MY GOSH! He is so attractive. I wish his character wasn’t in love with a high school student, though. But seriously. He is so handsome.

Anyway. This is what my nights have been looking like:

Day 98. With Love
I participated in a blog swap and Jess NAILED IT for me. She got me two WONDERFUL prints and gold glitter heart garland. Oh and a Disneyland postcard, which made me just explode with joy. She is wonderful; go check out her blog. Anyway. I really love this print:

Day 99. Socks
A few years ago my friend Jami spent time in Chile, and upon her return she presented me with these WONDERFUL PINK ALPACA SOCKS. I love them so so much. Her friend came to visit, and Jami had her friend bring me two new pairs of them. and I am over the moon happy to now have THREE pairs of cozy socks from far away to keep my toes warm at night… because I’m one of those freaks who sleeps with socks on.

Day 100. TOMS
DAY 100! What!? 2014 is moving by faster than I’d like.
Remember how I went on a trail walk at camp with Emily and Ellen? Well my TOMS were NASTY. Let me first say that I had just purchased them for $7 at the Goodwill. They were pretty new, with a few marks… and so it wasn’t the WORST thing to have cheap TOMS get all nasty. But dang, they were STINKY. So I did some research and attempted to clean a pair of TOMS for the first time. I figured if it ruined them… they were only $7. If it didn’t, I’d feel more confident cleaning a pair of TOMS that weren’t dirt cheap.

I’m going to post a blog about how it turned out once I’m caught up on my 365. Any guesses on what happened?

Day 101. coffee.
It was day 1 of our annual youth retreat, and as I ran around trying to make sure I had packed everything (I hadn’t) and that I was on time to pick people up, drop them off, and arrive for worship team practice, I realized that I would feel so frantic and overwhelmed if I didn’t stop for a minute and pour myself a nice glass of iced coffee to enjoy while I was rushing around.

And the last time I was at camp, we were commenting on how camp coffee is really just coffee flavored syrup. It’s not great. This time I came prepared to survive the weekend with pourover. So I brought my favorite mug.

Day 102. Youth Councils.
One of the things I’m really grateful for is the opportunity to play on worship teams. I really love it, and feel honored when I’m asked to be on one. Even if it does mean a lot of work between meetings, and early mornings at the piano. It’s one of my favorite things.

Day 103. coffee
I freaking love Caitlin’s blog. and instagram. I just think she’s so classy and wonderful. When I saw the pajamas she was wearing in this post, I fell in love. I drove almost immediately to the Forever 21 in my town…. and couldn’t find them. So I drove to another mall and… jackpot. They… are… so…. comfortable. I love them so much.
