Past Fall Looks

Looking back at past wardrobe choices, I now realize why I love fall fashion. Only then could I wear copper colored bell bottom cords or a plaid wool vest and bolero tie. When the preppy look came to town, I’d pull together a pinstriped oxford shirt tucked into button fly Levis with a ribbon bow tie around my neck. Eventually graduating to the shoulder padded, brightly colored polyester jumpsuits and dresses, fall offered opportunities to mix and match styles and try new trends. As I retreat into fleece, wool and Gortex, there’s something about past fall fashions that make me smile.
