In case you didn't know last night aired he 86th annual Academy Awards. Naturally like any blogger, I was glued to the the tv to see what all the major stars were wearing. And of course to see if Lupita Nyong'o winds best supporting actress. And she did! But as all the stars made their way down the red carpet a select few stood out to me. So let's take a look shall we?
Sandra Bullock in Alexander McQueen
I have to say Sandra Bullock did it for me last night. She was flawlessly stunning & gorgeous in this navy blue Alexander McQueen gown. She definitely looked the part of an Oscar nominated actress.#nowords.
Charlize Theron in Dior
Charlize is just that chick. I love the she will inevitably turn heads whenever she hits the red carpet. She is absolutely stunning in the Dior gown. She knows how to pull a look together. Effortless!
Academy Award Winner Lupita Nyong'o in Prada
1st let me say I am SO EXCITED FOR HER WIN LAST NIGHT. For me Lupita can do NO WRONG. She has dominate this award season. It's like every color works on her flawlessly rich skin. She is radiant in this baby blue custom made Prada gown.
And if you notice all 3 are stunning with the short cuts. I can say I always enjoy seeing Meryl Streep. She is always elegant, trendy but age appropriate. Anne Hathaway tends to be a hit or miss with me from red carpet to red carpet, but I love her in this look, simple but chic. Jennifer Lawrence matures every year & I love that about her. I think the red with the orange undertone is beautiful on her skin. I love that she let her necklace hang in the back as opposed to the front.

It was clear to me that nude/skin tone colors was the way to go on the 2014 Oscar red carpet.
