Chunky Sweaters and Leather Leggings

One of my go-to outfits this winter has been chunky sweaters and leather leggings. I love the juxtaposition of the comfy, cozy knits and the sleek leather leggings. For even more warmth, I have been throwing on my plaid coat, which adds a fun pattern into the mix for the ultimate in pattern and texture play. The leather leggings can be real, which tends to be a bit (ok way) pricey, or faux like these high waisted leggings. To keep your legs looking nice and long, pair the pants with black pointy toe booties.

I am planning on meeting the frenchman in New York later next week when he finishes a work trip. It will be my very first trip to the big apple, and I can’t wait to rock a version of this outfit there. I think I may have to throw on a hat and gloves and another long sleeve tee under the sweater to cut it in the frigid cold, but it will look fab nonetheless.
