monthly favourites: july

Fashion: I hit the sales hard this month but my favourite purchase is actually something I bought full-price (quelle horreur!) I am completely smitten with Anthropologie’s Tenaya Jumpsuit (1). It’s so cute and comfortable, perfect with flat sandals during the day or with heels for dinner. This one is going to be in high rotation over the summer!

Face: I may have gone a little overboard on beauty products while I was in New York and Paris this month (in truth, I could probably set up my own mini Sephora now) but my number one purchase has to be the GlamGlow YouthMud Mask (2). I know I’m incredibly late to the party on this and the entire rest of the blogosphere has already put it into the category of cult favourite – but there’s a reason! It exfoliates, tightens the skin and makes pores completely invisible. Your boyfriend might complain that you look like a swamp monster for 20 minutes (or at least mine does) but it’s worth it!

Food: You wouldn’t think I’d go hunting for Australians when I was on holidays in the US, but somehow it always seems to happen. Why, you ask? I need good coffee! Fortunately the team at Bluestone Lane Coffee (3) know their brew AND have three locations in Manhattan. Give them a go – although I take no responsibility if you can never face a cup of drip again!

Film: Yes, I was one of the people who Kickstarted Zac Braff’s new film, Wish I Was Here (4). Make my investment worthwhile and go see it!

Flashback: As I’ve kicked back into blogging more frequently again, I’ve enjoyed re-reading this post from 2010 about whether a person can be intelligent and still like fashion (5).
