I'd been thinking about doing a sort of 'shop review' type series on my blog since so many of my friends ask me about where to buy from, how good the service is, and where to get the best discounts. I'm all for discount shopping online, since you can almost always buy the same thing you find in store online for a million times cheaper. So here it is, the first in my 'where I've shopped from' series: my #NZSale shopping review!
I've been a member of NZSale for years, ever since my design teacher at school told me all about it, but it wasn't until I went to University that I really started to appreciate the idea. Student budget = no money. NZSale is the best way to get a major discount on products that are marked up a ridiculous amount in NZ, especially makeup. No one wants to miss out on quality just because their budget it low. NZSale offers amazing brands at huge discounts, the only compromise being that shipping takes longer than the usual website. I think the wait it worth its while, mainly because I'd rather save money by waiting, but also, it only took two weeks to arrive so it's really not that long.
I definitely recommend NZSale for beauty products, since brands such as NARS and St. Tropez are stupidly overpriced in store here, compared to their prices overseas. In my post I-just-handed-in-a-really-bad-assignment depression I made an order with the hopes of not looking translucent this Summer. I've heard St. Tropez is pretty good for tanning products so I grabbed a few different products to try. Also, the NARS a sun kissed set was pretty cheap and who doesn't want to look sun kissed? In the cart it went. Overall, I'm very happy with the price and delivery time, A from me!
