Cruise Day One

Last weekend, I had the great privilege of joining my husband on a business trip aboard the Carnival Destiny cruise ship. It was such a massive treat. It was my first time on a cruise and my first time taking a vacation like this with my husband. We've done lots of overseas travel together, but it has always been for missions purposes. So, knowing I would get to kick back and relax for nearly 5 days made for many moments of extreme anticipation!

I feel incredibly full. And surprisingly it's not because of all the food I ate on the ship...though yes, I was indeed majorly stuffed! 24 hour access to soft serve ice cream sure did me in. I am just soo thankful for the chance to go and be part of what Dustin and the rest of the MIKESCHAIR guys do on a regular basis! My heart, that is what is full!

On the very first day, the ship set sail out of Miami. We were given a balcony stateroom just below the Lido deck. Our room was right next door to some of the other guys in the band, Seth and Kyle, so we could connect our balconies.

The guys played a show the very first night and I must add, it was incredible. They played right on the Lido deck, which made for an awesome atmosphere. It was a proud wife moment for sure!
