Before fall is officially upon us, I figured I’d share a few tidbits from this past summer. A few of us girls headed to Montauk in August and it was the perfect little getaway! It felt far too short (I could have stayed for weeks, but ya know, that whole job thing.), but a few days is better than none, right? It truly was one of the best weekends of the summer!

On Friday, Lauren and I packed up and took the train out to Montauk. (I was within minutes of missing the train because of traffic getting to Penn, but that’s another story. It’s always f*cking something.)
We stayed at the Montauk Yacht Club and it was truly picture perfect. Nautical bedroom décor, multiple pools, a lighthouse, striped umbrellas outside, a perfect water view… What more could one ask for? Oh, and ALL OF THE BOATS. The dock made for the perfect photo backdrop!
^ disregard the PBR. We had the pleasure of checking-in at the hotel behind a group of ten guys on a bachelor party. PBRs all around, obviously.
After we checked in and made our rounds photographing everything in sight, we popped a bottle of champagne as we got ready for dinner and headed to Ruschmeyer’s. Rosé, pizza, and the cutest twinkly lights. Honestly, what more could one want? After a low-key dinner, we met up with Lauren & Caroline at Surf Lodge.

We lounged by the pool before grabbing lunch at the outdoor cafe at Montauk Yacht Club — A lobster roll & a frozen pina colada. Doesn’t get much better than that!
Later that evening we headed to the Serena & Lily Beach Market for a little pre-dinner shopping. So much fabulous nautical decor!
How cute is this bench?!
Beyond obsessed with these navy & white stools!
Loved these lobster towels!
This hanging chair is just too cute. One day when I don’t live in Manhattan…
We spent the rest of the day by the pool soaking up the last bits of sun before heading back to the city!
Until next time, Montauk!
