ah ok, thanks for clearing that up! Raf will never be as talented as Galliano but it's true that people keep bringing it up and

It’s not really about one being more talented than the other, it’s about them both having completely different aesthetics when it comes to designing, Galliano likes excess, glamour, and for his collections to be a thing of fantasy, where as Raf creates collections that are minimal, refined, and wearable. They both have taken the house of Dior in completely different directions and have both re-invented classic Dior looks in their own way. The one thing that Galliano did was constantly present completely different collections and you could never tell what he would create for each season, but with Raf his collections are predictable and I think that’s why people have issues with him because of his repetitiveness and the couture collections he presents could easily be ready to wear. I also think that people are just so consumed by the fantasy that Galliano created, that they want to see that with Raf’s collections as well, but that isn’t going to happen because like I said they are two very different designers. People just need to accept the fact that the direction in which Raf is taking the house is going to continue until he is no longer there and that even when/if he goes Galliano will not return to take it back to the fantasy era he created.
