Host a Spring Party

Spring trends calls for beautiful pastels and gold accents, and I don’t just mean when it comes to your wardrobe. When you add these fun pops of color to your table it feels like the sun is shining right into your dining room; it is so cheery! So whether you are planning to host a Spring Dinner for friends or are starting to search for Easter inspiration, I hope this sparkling table will serve as a range of great ideas to choose from!

To start, I love a bright blue placemat. I got mine at Bed, Bath and Beyond which unfortunately is no longer available online, so I picked out some similar options to shop below. I recommend placing a white dinner plate on top and then a salad bowl or salad plate that ties back to the placemat on top. I had these adorable bowls from Fishs Eddy that were almost a perfect match so I went with them. For a brunch I could use them as a fruit cup or for dinner I could use them for salad.

For centerpieces, I love gold in the Spring, so I searched around the house for some gold accent pieces – like my Michael Aram Banana Leaf Gold Platter, my Michael Aram Lemonwood Gold Coasters, and my Z Gallerie Scopio Sphere. Rather than spending a ton of money on elaborate arrangements, I chose simple daisies which I cut short and staggered in a variety of small glass and gold vases {which I got at Corzine & Co in Nashville}. Lastly, for a splash of color I took little candy dishes {like these} and filled them with pastel colored M&Ms. Jordan Almonds are a good option if Easter M&Ms are hard to come by.

And with all this nice weather, you want to spend less time setting up and more time outside, so nix the idea of an elaborate bar and set out some cool water pitchers on the table. I recommend filling one with flat water and the other which a delicious Spring-time drink like Lemonade or Iced Tea.
