Illamasqua 'Furore' Pure Pigment

I had never used a pigment in my life before I bought one from Illamasqua…now I am addicted to pigments and own loads! They are such a versatile product; use them wet, dry, on your eyes, your cheeks…they're there to be played with. Today I'm going back to my pigment roots and sharing with you my all time favourite and my first pigment - Furore.
Illamasqua pigments are so much fun to work with, you can use them in a variety of ways and they are really high quality. The powder is so finely milled that it's similar to a dust, you need to pick it up with absolute precision using your brush to prevent fall out. What I do is very gently tap the brush over the hole, then instantly tap it off over the hole still so that I prevent wasting any product! Then, instead of sweeping the product, I pat it into place to get the best colour payoff and stop pigment flying everywhere. If you're experimenting with pigments for the first time I highlight recommend doing your eyes first before any other makeup to prevent a glittery mess! Or, hold a tissue underneath your eyes as you go. I most enjoy using pigments to highlight, but they're great for packing on high definition colour onto the eyes too. I'll use Furore dry with a powder brush along the top of my cheek bone and around the edge of my eye to highlight, and I'll use it wet with a dense shadow brush to pack colour straight onto my eye lids. I love using this pigment wet, it looks absolutely knock out.

Dry / Wet
Furore is the most beautiful colour ever, a peach champagne hue that sparkles in the light. It is dazzling and warms up my skin instantly. An absolute must-have that's perfect all year round!
Illamasqua Pure Pigments cost £16.50 from selected stockists…they're worth every penny!
