Happy December everyone! My time is very limited at the moment so I am just concentrating on our Christmas Journal. I dig out an old album (letter-sized) and filled it with different sized page- and pocket-protectors.
I took Shimelle’s Manifesto as inspiration and just let my thoughts flow. And this is what I came up with:
On the first of December we also visited the Christmas Market at our local boarding school ‘Clayesmore’ – and it was a bit disappointing again. Lots of stalls with jewellery, handmade soap and other strange things, we do not need necessarily… Oh, how we miss the traditional German Christmas Markets!
All about chocolate Advent calendars…. and this year’s calender was sent by my friend Monika from Germany! Sweet little treat!
We also received a parcel from my SIL with more treats from Germany – all those yummy things from our favourite chemist’s ‘dm Drogerie’ – we really miss this their products!
Tobias was ahead of himself this year! He started planning his Christmas Bakery in mid November, we ordered everything the following week – and I started baking, because he still was to tired after his night shift! Bless him…
4th December 2013 – The Greatest Gift
Finally, after we had to spend Christmas apart last year, we can celebrate together this year. So I got my greatest gift already!
