First Time Toadstool – A Scrapbooking Layout Inspired by Shimelle

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and maybe there was some time for you to sit down and be creative? I certainly try to keep Sundays for at least one scrapbooking layout and maybe some other creative projects (for example the new album for Journal Your Christmas! December is nearly here!).

This very busy and colourful layout was from last week but I definitely wanted to show it here. A very lovely friend invited me to join in with Shimelle’s new workshop “Inspired by” in which she and a bunch of other talented scrapbookers show where they get the inspiration from when scrapping.

So for my layout I took the colours and the pattern of the toadstool out of the photo and added a lot of spots in various ways: Paper, washi tape and paint splatters.

I used papers by Pebbles “From me to you” and a lot of other bits and bobs from my stash! I found those clock rub-ons by Studio Calico, heart chipboards and quite ancient stickers. Finally you all got to see the things I was hiding away in boxes!
