beautycycle™ Water Skin Care Product Set review | Beauty Sunday
Today I decided that it was finally time to start a new column I’ve had in my mind for far too long, which is going to be called “Beauty Sunday”. Beauty Sunday is not going to be a regular column; more like a supplementary one to the already existing type of posts, where I’ll be doing some product reviews, my way. They’re probably going to be really long so I hope you read them and find them useful (if you want, you can skip the intro and go straight to the reviews, but I thought it would be nice to do a proper introduction).
beautycycle™ is a beauty line by Amway and consists of Skin care products and makeup products. Its skin care system has 4 categories, based on your skin type and your needs: Earth for normal-to-oily skin, Water for normal-to-dry skin, Air – age repair system for ages 30 , which is perfect for normal-to-dry skin and Fire which reactivates all skin types and triggers the renewal process of the skin to treat problems like dark circles and blemishes. All of them have the Microquad™ Complex which optimizes the delivery of the elements to the skin, providing maximum effectiveness. Plus an extra boost of Natural Yogurt Probiotics to help energize the skin and activate its natural ability to take in oxygen and help fight the visible signs of ageing.
About a month ago, I received the whole “Water” Skin care product set from Amway Hellas, to try it out. I was really happy when I opened the bag and found out what was in it, because I’m not a stranger to “Water” line, and I’m definitely not a stranger to Amway products. I’m a long time customer and user of their products, because they’re Eco-friendly, and high quality and I trust them for my every day routine. I actually bought the toner lotion of this line, a few months back, and I was already on my 3rd bottle when I received this set (But more about my opinion below), so I was really happy to be able to try the whole set.
According to Amway’s site: “beautycycle Water Products satisfy normal-to-dry skin’s thirst with deep moisture; an ultra-hydrating product line that helps to circulate moisture, protecting skin from dehydration.
The key ingredient is Wild Pansy Extract which helps to circulate a surge of moisture from both the outside in and the inside out, helping to defeat the causes and symptoms of dryness. Skin becomes fresh and luminous-looking.” Exactly what my skin needs, since most of the times it’s pretty dry and dehydrated.
What it does: Whisks away make-up and impurities. The suggested usage is applying it to damp face with fingertips, massaging gently and then rinsing thoroughly with warm water, however, I prefer pouring a small quantity to a cotton pad, and using that to clean my face, and taking it off with the toner.
My opinion: It’s an excellent cleanser; it leaves the skin soft, like you’re already wearing a cream and it removes make up satisfactorily.
Would I buy it again? Yes I would, because it’s really good and perfect for my skin type.

beautycycle™ Water Hydrate Replenish Toner
What it does: Preserves skin’s moisture and elevates skin’s suppleness and hydration, according to the company.
My opinion: As I told you above, this is actually my 3rd bottle of this toner, and I’m really satisfied with it. It works really well with my skin type, and gives me an instant sense of freshness, while it makes my skin softer and smoother. I actually not only use it after the cleanser, but I use it many times during the day, whenever I feel that my skin needs it. Every time I use this, I have the feeling that it makes my skin more balanced, both from dryness and the occasional oiliness I might experience.
Use: I pour a small quantity on a cotton pad, and use it on my face, neck and chest, before applying my cream, or whenever I need it.
Would I buy it again? : Definitely yes! It’s my toner of preference.

beautycycle™ Water Hydrate Replenish Day Creme with SPF 15 UVB/UVA
My opinion: It’s a very lightweight cream, with neutral scent, with SPF 15 UVB/UVA. In my opinion, it’s a bit oilier than I would prefer. You really need a really small quantity and you should be really careful with that, if you don’t want to look oily. It doesn’t get absorbed very easily (although now that I’m using the new Artistry Advanced Skin Refinisher before applying it – more on that on a future review – I believe it gets absorbed faster). I wouldn’t recommend it as a moisturizer right before your make up, unless you have enough time for it to get absorbed, or if you only add a tiny quantity. It comes in a small jar of 60ml, but since I don’t like using my fingers to get the product directly from the jar, I use a plastic spatula (pictured below).
Would I buy it again? : Probably not, because honestly I have some products that work better on my skin, but I’ll keep using the product till it’s finished, to get a better opinion. I’d suggest you find a sample and use it on you, so you know whether or not it works for you.

3 stars just because it didn’t really worked for me as a day cream/moisturizer. But that doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. Try it out!
My opinion: This cream is heavier than the day one. It has a very pleasant scent, and it’s very moisturizing while it leaves the skin soft and “elastic”. A small quantity is enough to see its results, and I guarantee, you will start seeing them from the next morning on. It comes in a jar of 60ml like its day-cream sister, and I also use a plastic spatula to apply it on my face, neck and chest.
Would I buy it again? : Definitely YES! I absolutely loved it, and plead guilty on using much more product than needed when my skin is super dry, which resulted in me having already used half of the product.
