The Black Cat Clutch
We are deep into autumn now – pumpkin patching, squash recipes and faux fur shopping are in full swing. If you are from Seattle – you understand the glory of October: the golden sun, the clear but cold skies, the rainbow of red, orange and yellow everywhere you look. What you may not know is the hidden glory of October – my birthday. Why so glorious you ask? Because my friends are the best gift givers in the world – and this year, a good friend surprised me with the cutest of cute black cat clutches.
If you follow me on Instagram – you already know – I have a black cat (and yes she is the cutest and yes I am a crazy cat lady). And now…I have a matching clutch. That’s right ladies – matching your shoes and purse is so throw back Thursday. This season it’s all about matching your accessories to your pets! With shoes that look like paws, furry accessories to match your furry friend’s coat and animal-shaped clutches, being one with your mini-BFF has never been easier.
On a more serious note – I’ll be doing a lot of traveling over the next month and a half. First for work, I’ll be heading to Baltimore for my company’s annual meeting. Then, for fun, I’ll be heading to Thailand for a whopping three weeks. My best friend and I have been planning this trip for about a year – so we are so incredibly pumped to jet off to foreign territory. I just have to remember my own packing advice from a couple years back…*leave all the shoes!*
