Red Hot Sunglasses

I never used to wear sunglasses because I always thought I looked stupid in them. This in itself is TOTALLY stupid especially as I frequently wore plenty of far more ridiculous things and never cared if I looked daft in them!

Now I'm (slightly) less crazy - wonky ears be damned! - and I have a healthy collection of sunglasses. I've never spent more than a few quid on a pair because, hey, I know my limits: I'm a total klutz. But Red Hot Sunglasses got in touch recently and wanted to hear my top picks from their website and now I'm thinking that designer sunglasses might be a good idea, after all. I'm even considering Ray Ban Wayfarers, a style that I previously hated!

I've picked thirteen that I'm currently loving. What do you think?

I'm just really into these shades of shades, for some reason. The dream to have lavender hair burns brightly in me so maybe this is just a coping mechanism? It's a total toss up between the Miu Mius and the Tods but they're all a bit good, no? Either way: violet, lilac or lavender = I LOVE.

Nude! It's good because it goes with almost anything! Sure, it can be totally hard to wear if it's the wrong shade of nude for youuuu but you can't please everyone. I tend to look best in netural nudes - uh, is that even a thing? - like the Valentinos on the bottom left but experiment with them on your own skin tone. You might be a pinky nudes like the Dolce & Gabbana or a yellow nudes like the Stella McCartney!

Tortoiseshell sunglasses are definitely one of my all-time favourites: see me in my beloved tortoiseshell sunglasses here! I think they're classic without being boring and the huuuuuuge variety of styles they come in means you can easily fit one to suit your face. I love a cat eye!
