Fifties Filofax

Filofax recently got in touch to ask if I'd like to take part in their blogger's competition to style a Filofax to suit the decade of my choice. I'm trying really hard lately to be a little better organised and I couldn't resist this beautiful British racing green organiser!

Chosing the decade was kind of a no brainer: the 1950's is my favourite. Don't get me wrong - I wouldn't want to live there - but I love the shapes and style a lot a lot. Unlike the 1920's or 1960's, I have the right figure for the Fifites!

I built my outfit around this vintage skirt teamed with some old favourites and my new perfect white shirt discovery from Uniqlo. I can't describe how great this shirt is. It's not see-through, the clever cut means it doesn't gape over my boobs and the three-quarter length sleeves are comfortable and flattering. It went perfectly under my Pringle jumper for this look!
