As Ever, Ideas for the Last Minute Christmas Card Sender
I wish I had a legitimate excuse for always ordering my Christmas cards late, but I don’t. I mean, EVERYONE is busy. But even my busy friends still seem to get their cards in the mail on time. Let’s face it, I’ll probably always be a last minute Christmas card sender. It’s not that I love my friends and family any less (in fact, I probably love them more than they know), but I’m always waiting for the ‘perfect’ photo. And the ‘perfect’ stamps. And the ‘perfect’ time to sit down and put them together. Of course, as I should know by now, ‘perfect’ never means what I think it does– even a lopsided holiday photo is ‘perfect’ if it arrives in my friend’s mailboxes before Valentine’s Day!
This is my fourth year getting cards from Pear Tree Greetings, and I can always tell when I’m holding one of their cards in my hand: quality printing, real gold foil, and a certain weight that screams ‘quality’. I love their modern yet classic designs and memorable holiday photo cards. Their motto is that their cards are ‘keep-worthy’, and to prove their point, check out my workspace: our card from last year still hangs on my huge bulletin board, as it makes my heart sing each time I look up at it. Frozen moments in time, the kids have changed so much and yet so little.

Amazingly, I quickly chose a card but then couldn’t decide whether to order them in color or black & white (it’s blurry only because I took a screenshot in preview mode, I’ll share the final product here and on Instagram when they arrive!):
I may be a last minute Christmas card sender, but they’re already printed and on their way to me now. I may just get them in the mailbox before the 25th this year. If I don’t, blame it solidly on ME, not the printer, okay? These puppies are scheduled to arrive well before Christmas.
