4th of July Style Guide

It’s that time of year again! The fourth of July is next Friday, which means the party prep must begin. And of course, the first step in planning out an epic 4th is getting the look…

No matter what holiday it is, it’s always exciting to get a little dressed up and show your spirit. And since 4th of July officially means summer is in full swing, it’s fitting to pull out every red, white, and blue piece you own and transform them into a festive warm-weather ensemble. While stars and stripes are fun to throw into the mix, the truth is you don’t have to go all star-spangled to get that “All-American girl” look. A few bold pieces mixed in with relaxed beachwear and casual accessories does the trick, and if you feel like taking it up a notch, you can always add a patriotic beach towel or a cute denim vest to continue the theme.

Summer celebrations can have you hopping from one activity to another, like heading from the beach or pool to a BBQ and party in the evening. Why not find an effortless outfit that you can hang out in with ease while showing your spirit in the midst of a constant flow of events? Try a bright red one-piece swimsuit for a statement while you’re at the beach. Bring along a pair of distressed denim shorts (these ones have tiny star cutouts!) and a chic swimsuit cover-up like a boho crop top in crisp white. Top off with a statement necklace and festive fingertips and you’re set for an evening of good food, friends, and fireworks.

Do you have a 4th of July outfit planned?
