Christmas Spirit

This past weekend we finally put up our Christmas tree. Some how it took us a really long time to get it up this year. I’m happy with it, but I’m irritated that I couldn’t get my 6′ foot (2m) tree cause I waited so long. It sold out by the time I got around to it. This year I decided I wanted a pinterest tree. So a la pinterest, I went after colors I wouldn’t normally see on a tree. I also bought my very first fake tree.

I had to settle for a 4′ foot (1.2?m) tree. It’s cute nonetheless. I picked doing a rainbow because I am just enamored with them this year! I can’t get over it.

Hey, at least it takes a nice picture! I bought the ornaments from Target for $15.00. Not a bad price for 50 ornaments. 2 of them were broken, but it’s ok, there wasn’t much room on the tree for more.

Since the tree has been up, both Pooty and Baron have been hiding under it like it’s their own personal little fortress. These guys are becoming the ultimate terror team. Poor Merlin can hardly stand them sometimes.

Cute as @#%&, amirite? I found this thing at Target too. It was $7.99 and it’s a mini USB powered Christmas tree. It sits on my planning workstation. It’s so lovely. I can’t stop taking pictures of it! I had to hunt this down at 3 Targets before I could find one that was this perfect/even in stock.
