Proplica Moon stick unboxing

After much hemming and hawing, I decided to order the Proplica moon stick from J-List. (I checked for cheaper sites but they were all preordered and sold out)

The package took about a week to arrive from Japan, and it came out of the box with a slight ding in the upper left hand corner (i.e.: the corner got pushed in) but other than that, it was fine.

I think you can even see the ding in this picture here on the left.

The back side of the box which shows the beautiful photos from the advertisement.

Out of the box, it comes in two plastic tray molds to protect it. The wand itself is interchangeable in that you can either have the crystal (shown packaged) in the wand or you can place a smooth piece into the wand (not shown as it is in the wand upon opening) so that it is a single unit.

Now, out of the tray! As you can see, I put my crystal in because I prefer it that way. The crystal itself is LED and will react in time with the activations of the wand. The smooth piece I talked about before is now on the desk. The awesome thing about this piece too is that it comes with the bloomed crystal flower piece which can (I think) hold the crystal itself if you didn’t want to use it. The stand itself also has a spot for this.

The stand it comes with clips into the back where the lift slots for the battery pack is. The wand requires 3 LR-44 round batteries, the kind seen in hearing aids. You can pick these up at a Batteries store or a RadioShack.
