Farrow Style
As October is slowly fading from my hands, my days are still a little hectic in my student life. Looking forward to finish the semester and funny thing is that at times I savor Christmas as if it were already in December (Can be for all stores that put Christmas decorations right in October).
This month I am inspired by everything related to the style and icon of the 60th’s Mia Farrow. The actress frame the decade of the 60's with the incredible "Pixie" cut for the film Rosemary's Baby, becoming one of the most popular cuts of all time. I made a compilation of some of my favorite photos, including Farrow with Salvador Dali, her wedding photo with Frank Sinatra and other with his once partner director Woody Allen. This California girl at the time was simple and minimal when wearing clothes which was perfect, I love that reflects elegance and youth. It has become an inspiration, especially after seeing her in the 1974 movie "The Great Gatsby”.
Así como octubre lentamente se va desapareciendo de mis manos, mis días continúan siendo un poco agitados en mi vida estudiantil. Esperando con ansias que se termine el semestre y curioso es que en algunos momentos saboreo la navidad como si ya fuera diciembre (Puede ser por todas las tiendas que ya ponen decoraciones navideñas en pleno octubre).
Este mes me inspiro de todo relacionado con el estilo e icono de los 6o’s Mia Farrow. La actriz marco la década de los 60’s con el increíble recorte estilo “Pixie” para la película de Rosemary’s Baby, convirtiéndose en uno de los recortes más populares de todo los tiempos. Hice una recopilación de algunas de mis fotos favoritas, entre ellas Farrow con Salvador Dalí, foto de su boda con Frank Sinatra y otra con su ex pareja el director Woody Allen. Esta californiana al momento de vestir era sencilla y mínima con sus prendas lo cual era perfecto, me encanta que reflejase elegancia y juventud. Se ha convertido en una inspiración, en especial luego de verla en la película del 1974 “The Great Gasby”.
