Lifestyle | Bench #24HOURLIFE

Day in, day out, life is pretty hectic but you caught me on a good day. Days with no meetings, press days or university are my favourite sort of days - a mid-week weekend so to speak. A little extra time in bed before kicking off the day with a shower and Aesop; I have a borderline obsession with this stuff and a morning without Aesop involved is a sad one indeed. Extra time in the morning also means time to indulge in making a smoothie for breakfast. The more stuff you can chuck into these the better - a bag of spinach is easily disguised with strawberries, blueberries and splash of natural yoghurt.
For the next few hours, I'll tackle emails, a new post or uni work - I'm currently working on a big research project due in at the beginning of next term. I break for lunch; I've eaten the same thing for lunch almost every day for the past week now. I chuck half a bag of spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and a few rashers of bacon into the pan until cooked and mix in an egg to finish.
I try to get in some sort of exercise most days, whether it be running through Dulwich park and down to Tulse Hill or indoors at the gym. If you follow me on Twitter and Instagram, you'll know that I've begun training for Nike's We Own The Night 10K in May. It doesn't sound far but for a complete running novice, it's certainly putting my body to the test.
Then another shower before getting ready for the evening's events. Wednesday evening was a particularly good line up. I went to a launch in store at Louis Vuitton on Bond Street with Ella and Nik before heading to Magnum's collaboration party with Henry Holland. A chocolate dress? Oh hiya. We ended the day at Soho House - probably best to leave out the finer details though, hey!
And so, why the unnecessary insight into 24 hours of my life? Well, Bench are running a competition through Instagram to win a weekend trip abroad along with spending money. Entrants must submit a photo or video that captures their daily commute or routine and include the #24HOURLIFE hashtag as well as tagging @benchoriginal. Head on over to the Bench website for more details.
