Conquering Fog in a Single Bound.

After living on the prairies I thought moving to Vancouver was going to be a piece of cake, until they cancelled a basketball game due to fog and I could not believe I had moved to a city of a bunch of pantywaists.

Fog . . . like it doesn't pile up around you and bury cars making it impossible to navigate roads. It isn't slippery. It doesn't cause flash flooding. So what if you can't see? Hello rope from the front door to the gymn ... anyone can find their way there and back again ... been doing it for years with the barn and believe me those cows appreciate you showing up to milk them when their bags are dragging on the ground because they are so full of milk.

Not much different with everyone whining about their winters this year and showing pics of them having to dig their cars out . . . Canadians people. Where was your compassion over how we live our lives all the time ... in the middle of summer . . . time???

People make mountains out of molehills .... like Australians ... they call their molehills 'mountains' all the time. At least THEY don't let anything keep them from getting to their sporting events ... or their beer ... The rest of the world just needs to put on their big girl pants and be brave like me, the brave Canadian ....

Please ignore the screaming, that was just me. I am typing this with my toes as I stand on top of my chair. A gecko got in the house and ran across the wall and into the closet in my office and my hubby is now taking everything out of the closet to get the gecko and take it outside. He is swearing a lot. The firemen are standing by and the police are telling the neighbours everything is fine, no-one died ... it is just a brave Canadian . . . and a gecko.
