We Had Ourselves A Baby Boy

Born at 39 weeks on 3/5/14 at 7 lbs 8.5 oz. Turns out my big baby wasn't so big after all!

We are so thankful for the way this little man made his way into the world and that we get to be his parents. We have been smitten with the name Smith since Brett got home from Kuwait but Brett has wanted to name all of our kids Frances/Francis since we first found out about baby Sebastian. When I'm not accidentally calling him Ruby or Sebastian it sounds pretty fitting to be calling him Smith.

So much has happened in the last week and a half surrounding the lead up to his birth and how he showed up that I almost don't know where to start. For now we're enjoying this little newborn's sounds and the sweet smell of his bald little head. Thank you for all the congratulations and for helping us celebrate this new little life.
