The Basics – MAC

Whilst I could have written a very lengthy picture heavy post on this I thought I’d keep it short and sweet with a couple of items from MAC that I happen to love purely for their verisitlity. The products on my list are MAC strobe cream and Brown down eyeshadow.

Strobe Cream, this highlighting cream can be used on the skin prior to foundation for a subtle radiance, mixed with base for a dewy complexion or over product as a natural looking highlight. Another great use is to mix with body cream for healthy glowing skin then down the center of the limbs to create the illusion of longer slimmer legs.

Brown Down is a matte eyeshadow described by MAC as a teddy bear brown, its medium deep shade makes it ideal for creating a smoky eye from subtle to super by wetting the brush or simply pressing more into a concentrated area. It works well as an eyeliner applied close to the roots and gently blended out.

Both are kit essentials for me, of course there’s many more I have but these two would be used by anyone pro or not.
