Celebrating 225 Years of Pears

Can you believe Pears has been around for 225 years?

Pears' claim to fame is that they were the first to make transparent soap and as you can see, the range has expanded into to include body wash and liquid soap.

Pears has managed to stand the test of time unlike some of my other favourites that have faded into obscurity like Millenium Bugs lollies (delicious!), Caboodles (random beads in lipgloss) and JTT (Jonathan Taylor Thomas).

What better way to celebrate than the extremely instagrammable/hipster mecca, The Grounds of Alexandria.

We were joined by Ada Nicodemou from Home and Away, the spokeswoman for Pears who just happened to look stunning in a Sheike & Co ensemble.

It was her first appearance since going through some personal milestone which that in itself attracted a bit of media coverage. But ultimately she was a professional and if I didn’t spend so much time not having a life, I wouldn’t have know anything was going on otherwise.

Let's enjoy this display that appears 'effortless' but we all know this would've taken ages, just like the 'natural' look.
