STYLISH STACKS

happy new week everyone.
i hope you all enjoyed your weekend as much as i did!
as i promised last friday, there will be another fun tutorial here on s/ch. we have been talking a bit about de-cluttering and creating healty space in our homes (the tinier the better), and the importance of having pretty, clean spaces for our day to day happiness.
this week, i prepared a very easy, but fun project to use for stacking bracelets or anything ring-shaped! here is what you will need:
a paper cone. i got mine after i finished yarn, but you can find these at any craft store for very little cost. the cone is the best shape because things won't fall off every time you will try to move it.
some paper tape (it peels off easily), paint, and a brush.
create a pattern with your tape. i made diagonal geometric shapes.
paint away, with the color of your preference. the lighter it is the more layers of paint you will need.
after that, simply let it dry very, very well and then...
carefully peel off the paper tape.
the paper underneath will become a bit like fabric in texture making your cone
feel a bit more home-y.
finally, begin to stack your bracelets.
here is a video, if you wish to refer back to the steps again:
by now, you know what the last step is - it is time to style it.
i placed mine on one of my shelves so as to make it easy to grab one on the way out to work.
what do you think?
will you give this a try?

i hope you all enjoyed our monday home project!

xoxo
