All About Comfort

I wasn’t much of a sneakers girl as a kid. In fact, I never owned a pair of the super popular Converse and I don’t really remember buying my first pair of sneakers until I was in college. It’s not that I didn’t like them, I just thought they didn’t fit my style. I don’t think that any more (or my style has simply evolved, as it tends to do over the years).

After wearing boots all winter, I’m happy to now slip into something lighter. These sneakers are super comfortable and they were only 15 bucks (win win!). They have a few other patterns and I’m kind of tempted to go back and pick up another pair!

Here’s the beanie I knit last month. Although we’ve had some days with highs above 50, the temperature dipped back down to the 30s yesterday, so I’m still getting some use out of this hat. Also, I kind of can’t help matching my lipstick to this beanie every time I wear it. This burgundy lipstick from MAC is definitely a favorite from mine.

What did you do this weekend? After two straight weekends that were filled with social activities, it was nice to have this quiet weekend as a change of pace. A few friends and I had drinks on Saturday and then we did a bit of shopping. On Sunday my roommate and I ran out for a bit to take care of an errand, but then we scurried back inside quickly when we realized how chilly it was.
