Tube Sweater & Rikke Hat n.2

Hello, my dear readers ♥
Today I want to show you my finaly finished latest knitting project ! Some time ago I bought a really cute special issue of knitting magazine Sabrina called "Strick mit !". Which is focused on easy knitting paterns for compllete beginers (like me!) with ilustrated tutorials for the most important things like casting stitches on needles, increase, decrease and changing colours...all I needed to know !!! So far I saw a lot of patterns for begginers, but mostly they were just scarves, blankets or something really old-fashioned. But this special issue is absolutely amazing *o* it´s full of really great and modern patterns ♥
At first I didn´t know what to cast on my needles, because I wanted to do everything ! But then I calmed down and decided for a Tube Sweater. Super easy thing - made only from two long rectangles sewn together with holes for hands. And what´s even better? It can be worn in two styles ! From one side you have a nice warm winter dress and worn from the other side you get a cute knitted top with a cowl *o*
I still got left some of the elven yarn which I used for my winter hood and decided to use it for this sweater as well. And it was a good choice - knitting is really easy with this yarn and it matches my red hair perfectly =D
If you are planning to start with knitting I really recomend this pattern to you. You can either buy it here (but I´m not sure if they still have this magazine), or send me and e-mail on [email protected] and I can "give you some advice" he he I personally think that this pattern would look amazing in black ! But I already have too many black things in my wardrobe >_<
I used knitting needles n. 5 and and three skeins of Tamara Vlnika.
And because the yarn is elven it was just natural for me to dress up as an elf while wearing it for the first time ♪ ...a modern-age elf

The second knitting project I finished lately was another Rikke Hat. Which I already made for myself and my bf liked it so much that I decided to make him one as well for Valentine´s Day. As usual I bought the yarn just a week before, but I managed to finish it on time =D phew !
I used circular needles n.5 (30 cm) and three skeins of "Classic" from Wolle Rödel in a really beautiful dark blue/grey colour.
I have just one good photo even though we took quite a lot of them -_- ...because my bf is on most of them making silly faces or looks terribly serious =D it´s really hard to take a decent photo of him !

I also finished one really cute mori crochet project just a few days ago and now I´m already working on another elven thing. But that´s a story for another post ♪
Have a beautiful weekend, everyone !
