Today I want to show you my latest impulse purchase. I have been eyeing Giorgrio Armani eyeshadows for a while but I don't like such glittery eyeshadows so I didn't actually buy it but last time I was at Douglas I decided to get one of them to check if it's worth the hype. I picked up this gorgeous silverish shade because it was the only one that was actually a little bit more cool toned than others.

This innovative hybrid texture, which is a powder, nor a cream acts like a smooth, lasting color film. Each shade is intensified with a second pigment for a multi-dimensional effect. In just one swoop, create a wet, shimmering smokey eye. Base color covers eyelid, and second pigment adds drama to the contour.

I tried to find something similar to it in my makeup collection and all I was able to find was this Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadow in 11 Mercury. As you can see the GA one is definitely more pigmented. It is also way easier to apply and it lasts longer on my oily eyelids without a primer.

It is very easy to apply with a brush or (in my case) with fingers. It starts creasing after 10 hours of wearing. Its texture it's very interesting. At first I thought it was a cream, then maybe a gel? Then I decided it feel more like a mousse eyeshadow. It's hard to compare it with any other products, although I heard that there was a dupe at L'oreal but I haven't tried it yet. It can be used as a base color for other eyeshadows (also theese in powders). I like to wear it on itself with black eyeliner (in my case an attempt at applying black eyeshadow as an eyeliner) or apply it on other eyeshadows to add some shimmer. I won't get more of these anytime soon because I don't like any other shades from current range but I will definitely check out spring collection:-)
