Dress down a fancy piece for Day

"Fashion should be fun." We've all heard this time and time again. Well I don't know about you, but when I hear this, I think of people like Anna Dello Russo, who are absolutely fabulous and have fun with fashion. Unfortunately, most of Anna's looks I would never step out of my house in, they aren't "wearable". When I turn that phrase into something more realistic to my everyday, I think of dressing down the most glam pieces in my wardrobe. This feather skirt, I last wore HERE, I wore for a night out. It's a piece I love, so I decided to take it for a spin for a lunch date. I made the feathers more wearable by adding a basic tee, flats and the fool-proof denim jacket.
