Fall 2014 Blogger's Quilt Festival, Scrappy Category

Thank you to Amy for hosting the Blogger's Quilt Festival. I can't believe this is my 6th time to participate. This time I am entering my Selvage Block quilt in the Scrappy Quilt category. This quilt is the definition of "scrappy". It is made from selvages cut from the edge of the fabric that so many people throw away, all scraps.
I wrote a detailed blog post here, that explains all about it.You can also see more photos of it in that blog post.

I also entered my Single Girl quilt in the Large Quilt category.

Quilt Stats: Name: Trash to Treasure Fabric: selvage remnants Backing: Architextures 108" extra wide in Blue Batting" Warm and White Binding: Madrona Road text in black Thread: Pieced and quilted with Aurifil 50wt. color 2310 size: 74" x 74"
Looking back at my other entries I can tell I usually go with an emotional entry. Usually a quilt that I have gifted or that had a big impact on my quilt journey.
