By now, you’ve definitely heard the news about Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling possibly rekindling their romance, proving to everyone that both their on- and off-screen love lives are way more romantic than anyone else’s. If your secret hopes of meeting Ryan Gosling on the street and getting him to fall in love with you have been completely dashed, don’t despair. Take comfort in knowing that at least he’s with a celeb we can respect and admire. In fact, here are three reasons Rachel McAdams is more than suitable for one of the world’s favourite male stars, in addition to being my girl crush of the week.

Rachel McAdams has long been one of my favourite celebs and she is definitely a beauty style star to me. This is the perfect example of how to rock pink lips without going over the top. The pink is sort of sheer, making it a little more subtle, and the rest of her makeup is muted and simple. Even her hairstyle is super simple. Not only is her pout garnering all the attention, but even that top knot (which says that she’s relaxed and cool) works on her. I would look like a slob but she nailed it. If you were starting to think bright pink lips were becoming a thing of the past, think again.
She Can Rock the Red Hair Trend
This is not an easy hair colour to pull off but it looks amazing on Rachel. As usual, she looks elegant and classy. I’m still not even sure how it’s possible for someone to look awesome as a red-head, brunette and a blond!

While I’m a huge fan of the natural look, far too many people end up looking washed out and dull when they attempt it. Of course, not Rachel! Neutral doesn’t mean you have to stick to beiges. Any shade that is light, complements your complexion and isn’t overpowering works. The light pink lip colour and blush give her complexion a subtle glow, all while remaining understated and natural-looking.
