Countdown to Dubai

In less than a week I’ll be headed to Dubai with the Nuffnang Bloggerati crew courtesy of Dubai Tourism! I can’t wait! I’ve been pretty busy lately and haven’t done much research, so finally put some time aside tonight to start my check list of places to visit, so here’s a quick roundup of my research so far and what I’m looking forward to in Dubai!

Food comes first! haha. Other than dates and chick peas, I’m not too familiar with Middle Eastern food so I definitely have to check out authentic Emirati cuisine. The Sheikh Mohammead Centre for Cultural Understanding seems like a fitting place to hit up.

Next definitely has to be the Aquaventure Waterpark!

I’m not sure if I’m going to be daring enough to take the “leap of faith”, but I’m definitely going to enjoy this water park and checking out the marine life. I didn’t visit any aquariums in my last few trips overseas, and I’m glad I didn’t now, since I’m going to visit this one, as well as the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo at The Dubai Mall. Both are among the best in the world.

I’ll end this post with The Dubai Mall. I think I’ll be hanging out at this mall for several days; there’s just so much to do! I’m looking forward to checking out the different stores and labels the mall has to offer cause most of these labels I wouldn’t be able to find in Australia. Will also definitely have to get to the top of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
