Light After Labour Day

I’m guilty of breaking fashion rules, too matchy matchy, black with navy or wearing white after labour day. We have so much great weather in September who even came up with that stupid rule? So this is my compromise- call it “light” after labour day. The dress is more of an ivory and the embellishment on the neckline adds a nice hint of gold heading into fall. Another thing I’m not ready to give up quite yet are my new favourite Poppy Barley flats in this brilliant Sunrise Confetti leather. I had them custom measured {as they do with all of their shoes} and haven’t been able to take them off since- finally a flat that doesn’t give me toe cleavage or blisters. And speaking of Labour Day, it’s that time of year where I’m getting excited to see all the fall fashion and I’ll be sharing some of my favourite finds coming up so stay tuned!
