It seems like it's been a while since I've re-visited mustard yellow...with all the hype over 'radiant orchid' being the
2014 Pantone Colour of the year, I've hardly seen any yellow shades popping up in stores this upcoming winter. I used to be so fond of the colour for the cooler seasons, which I only realised when I was cleaning out my wardrobe on the weekend and found a number of knits in the same mustard yellow colour haha. But every now and again I like to revisit an old favourite!
The same goes for these bowler hat styles that I totally neglected for a long time as well. They add such a quirky, vintage touch that I used to love! I have several outfits scheduled for my blog and so many of them incorporate hats, mostly the big floppy 70's kind....so these small round bowler hats should be a refreshing change for the influx of big wide-brimmed hats coming your way.
I actually didn't see the horns on this knit from
Black Five, and thought there were just regular horses rathern than unicorns! Luckily I love both kinds haha. They add a cute whimsical touch to this knit!
