Wooden Brooches

These have been something that I've been trying to get sorted for ages and now they are finally here. They've been such a stress to make that once they're gone they're gone! I had so many problems with the people who were cutting them that I almost gave up. They have been cut from 3mm plywood and sanded down hand. Once I'd sanded off the burnt bits I gave them a thin layer of wax for protection but to be honest I think I ended up wearing more of the wax than the brooches did!

I don't have that many of these left because I had several orders for them last week on my facebook page. I was a little overwhelmed by the amazing response I got to these. It was a great start to the weekend! Each of the pictures above link to the etsy listing of that brooch if you wanted to read a little more about them or even purchase one for yourself :) Otherwise you can click here: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/joannehawker?ref=si_shop
