Snow day
Boots: Hunter, Coat and skirt: J.Crew, Sweater: Uniqlo, Hat: Reiss
Yes, it's ridiculously freezing, we're currently averaging around -9 (Celsius) and there's still about 6 inches of snow (or more like dirty slush) right outside our door after the latest blizzard. Welcome to January in NYC!
I'm not a huge fan of layering, but it's definitely necessary right now. I can't seem to layer successfully without a) looking really bulky, or b) being really uncomfortable (shirts under sweaters anyone?). For example, this outfit would be much more aesthetically pleasing without the white faux fur vest peeking out from underneath, but however "Thinsulated" this J.Crew coat may be, it just can't hold up alone under these temps.
Anyway, must stop complaining, it is quite pretty after all! How do you cope with freezing winters where you live?
