Postcards from Yorkshire (Part 1)

I started this blog whilst studying in Bristol (UK), before moving to New York, so what not many people know is that I'm actually from Yorkshire. I haven't been home since last Christmas and was anxious to see my family and have some brief respite from the daily hustle in NYC if only for 2 short weeks. I find funny that often when I tell people in the US where I'm from, I'm met with blank stares. It seems that several people here in the states don't know very much about the north of England. Here are a few "postcards" that share what I love about my home county, from the coast to the country.
