Get the Red Carpet Look: The 2014 Academy Awards

Academy Award’s newbie, Lupita Nyong’o, has been a favorite this awards season for her show-stopping red carpet looks. For this event, Lupita chose a light blue chiffon dress by Prada that she said reminds her of her home in Nairobi. Not only did she make our list of favorite looks from the night, she also took home an Oscar for best supporting actress for her role in 12 Years a Slave. The Oscars definitely needs a new category in honor of Ms. Nyong’o: best red carpet look!

No one makes an entrance quite like the lovable (and beautiful) Jennifer Lawrence – by stumbling onto the red carpet! This fashionista stepped out of her black car and immediately took a tumble. Always one to laugh at herself, the beauty in red kept her cool in a Dior gown and marched onward towards the photographers, ever so gracefully! With such a vivacious dress and elegant accessories, we couldn’t stop staring at our TV screens as soon as she arrived at the event!
