Review | Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick

Hey Honeybees

"Bobbi's innovative Foundation Stick is designed for portability and adjustable coverage. Easy to apply and blend all over the face or just where you need it. For all skin types, except very oily." - Bobbi Brown Website
This foundation is such a dream. It applies really well (once you get the hang of it) and blends effortlessly. The shade selection is pretty inclusive, however I did get the darkest shade which is a shade or two too dark, but the next one down was slightly too light (I'm normally an NW50 in Mac foundations).

What I love most about this foundation is the buildable coverage (medium to full). It's really easy to blend and sets to a lovely glowy finish. Bobbi Brown foundation stick is oil free, which ensure that my skin will be able to breath and not get clogged up (always a thumbs up). The packaging is also a winner for me, it's easy to store and can effortlessly fit into a makeup bag.

There are a couple of tid bits I don't love/haven't mastered yet. The first is application, when applied straight from the stick I sometimes find I end up using too much, this could be my lack of experience. I know on the description it says not for very oily skin... But, my skin is not 'very' oily and I get pretty shiny on my T-zone (especially). I find that this foundation looks great but doesn't last very long without a setting powder (it's a must) for us oily girls. The size of the Bobbi Brown foundation stick is somewhat disappointing, its quite expensive for the size of the product.
I would recommend this foundation if you have dry/normal/combination skin. It looks amazing and with a good setting powder has the potential to last a decent amount of time. I do really like the Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation but at £28 for 9g make sure you test before you buy (I have no regrets!)
