Happy Thoughts for Thursday

Taking to teachers. Here's a shocking thought: teachers are people, and they like their students and want them to succeed. I nearly cried at one appointment with a professor after she thanked me for a great semester and hugged me goodbye. Another lent me a couple books for a project and gave me a copy to keep of another. I'm lucky in my department's faculty.
Music. I'm possibly going to see my favorite band in March. Fingers crossed. I'll have to move mountains to make it happen, but it'll be worth it.
Less stress. I turned in four papers in the last 2 days, and my to-do list is decreasing. There's still a lot to do in the next week, but I think I have a couple days to relax before things get hectic again.
Friends. I have such wonderful friends.
Knitting. I'm wrapping up a lot of holiday presents. Things are moving right along!
