Happy Thoughts for Thursday

My mother. She sent me the most perfect care package! Goldfish, coffee, chocolate, and winter baked goods. Everything a girl needs to survive finals week!
Imbalanced finals week schedules. Three of my final projects were due Monday and two Tuesday, which means that I have all of yesterday and today to relax, as I only have one more final to worry about. And I'm not too worried.
Good coffee.
Basketball season. I've been able to play at one game so far this year, and we're starting right up as soon as we return to school from classes! My internship boss gave me permission to leave work early on Fridays so that I can attend rehearsals, which means more trombone playing!
Finishing the knit things. My holiday knitting is all done, and it feels fantastic. It's December, but I'm not in any rush to finish anything, for once in my life. I can relax and knit what I want to knit!
Opportunities. Yikes. I've been given the opportunity to stay at school a week longer in order to work my part time job. I'm taking the opportunity, because I don't have a job up home, and I need the money. I'm staying with a friend and hopefully getting a lot of work done on my thesis when I'm not working. Because, oh yeah, my advisor gave me a new idea for a thesis project. And it would be an amazing opportunity. I'm really nervous about whether or not I could pull it off, but if I could there would be even more opportunities stemming from it. I need to decide by tomorrow.
The boy. He's cuddly and funny and I like him.
Professors. I have a huge stack of books that professors have lent me in the lat week. I'll have to take them all home over break, which will be a ton of fun.
Yoga. I've started working out again, and while currently I feel really pathetic, I know that if I keep at it in a week or two I'll be able to get through my normal podcasts again, and I'll feel a lot better.
Prepared blog posts. I have a list of posts that are ready to go! It's so satisfying seeing them all lined up, after weeks of being too franticly busy to even think of posting anything interesting.
Good times with good friends. A lot of people will be leaving campus in the next couple days that won't be coming back for quite some time, if they ever do. It's easy to be sad about it, but I'm very thankful for all the amazing times I've had with these people. Plus, there's always the internet and cell phones and excuses to travel.
