Happy Thoughts for Thursday

Coffee. My mom has started making slightly stronger coffee than what she's made for my whole life, and it's good. She also sets the machine at night, so there's coffee ready when we all wake up. Glorious.
Tea. A dear friend went to London for a week and brought me back some tea bags. This week has been a bit of an emotional one, and each mug of tea has been a blissful cup of calm. English Breakfast tea is one of my favorites, and I had never had Earl Grey before- delicious, in case you're wondering.
Baking hacks. I come from a family of bakers. We bake all the time, and our recipes are better than yours (I'm not biased I swear). This doesn't mean that we never cheat. This week I've been using boxed mixes- berry muffins and bisquick pancakes- and adding a boatload of fresh fruit to each- blueberries, strawberries, rasberries, cranberries, and bananas. That makes it healthy, right?
Plans. Right now I have only half dreamed plans for this summer and the future. Once I get a job and have gas money, I can proceed to the actual planning stages of our hypothetical visits. I miss my friends.
New and old friends. I did get to spend some time this weekend with an old friend and a new friend. It felt good just to hang out, without any regard for time or obligations, with funny people.
Skyping with Roommate.

My room. Everything is clean and my posters are hung. It feels like home again.
My Sue. I got very close to my internship boss this last semester. She called me a bit ago and I nearly cried for joy. I miss her.
Garage workouts. I thought it was going to be difficult to keep up my workout schedule alone. Maybe it will get more complicated as the summer progresses and it gets warmer out, but for now I'm still enjoying it. Boxing in my garage in the morning has been one more thing to keep my mind off of the boring abyss that is post-grad life so far.
