Some of you might know me already. Most of you are certainly wondering why a tiny person like me, living in a tiny country like Belgium, having so little experience in art, was invited to be part of such a great book, alongside such amazing artists. I don’t know. I am honored.
Let me introduce myself.

I’m 34 years old. I live in Belgium. I speak French. I am a sixth-year fellow in gastroenterology. I’m trying to master the endoscopic skills required to diagnose and treat esophageal, stomach, duodenal and colonic diseases.

In my spare time, I paint. Being so organized and irreproachable at the hospital gives me permission to get messy, to play and cross boundaries at my art desk.
My medium of choice is acrylic paint. I combine collage, acrylics and drawing media (crayons and markers). Usually, I work in a journal. Sometimes on a canvas. If you browse my work, you’ll notice my two favorite fields of work : my industrial scenes and my studies of lines, shapes and textures.

I’m not used to write long posts. I prefer to show you what I’ve been up to. There are phases where I paint and post everyday and phases where laundry, kids and work get in the way...
