Portland Wooed Me

Wow guys, Portland is super freaking pretty. Even if it rained most of the time I was there. I have to say that I saw more waterfalls in 3 hours then I have my entire life. I also ate at more food trucks then ever. The fact that there is a food truck entirely dedicated to grilled cheese makes me feel better with the world.

I stayed with my lovely friend (and crafter) Shana who fed me like I've never been fed. She even made me mini-fruit pies and sent me off to the airport with a freshly baked strawberry pie in my carry on luggage. The visit, although quick, was awesome.

I didn't get as much reading done on the flights over and back, but I did manage to finish-up one new-to-me book, Spade & Archer. I'll do a little write-up on it soon, but I realized I never told you guys about the book I read a while ago called We Took to the Woods. I'll be posting my thoughts on that one next week.

It was so awesome meeting all you at Crafty Wonderland. The script typewriter was a hit and will soon be for sale on the L.W.A. membersite. (I'll let you know when it goes up!) Welcome and many thanks to the new Portland Alliance members!
